BARACK OBAMA WINS IN A LANDSLIDE!

While 3000 disappointed McCain supporters snacked on Cheese and crackers in Arizona, Obama celebrated with champagne, caviar, and over 300,000 guests at his victory party in Chicago. From the start of the evening it looked like it would be a democratic sweep. Even George W. Bush’s last minute ploy of parading a captured Obama Bin Laden in a dog collar down Pennsylvania Avenue, didn’t help very much.
Up until tonight, conventional wisdom said, “When the shit hits the fan, it’s the man with the tan, who’s always the first to go!” After enduring 8 years of “Bullshit” from the last administration, I’m happy to say that the expression has been altered to say, “When the shit hits the fan, it’s the man with the tan, who’s chosen the one to go…to clean up the mess in Washington”. I just hope he brings a big enough shovel.

After 8 years, I have a President again. I am thrilled, proud, relieved, grateful, thankful, newly-optimistic. Finally, we have the best and the brightest – the smartest guy in the room. (Extra points for being African-American.)

it’s nice to see everyone finally decide to get off their lazy rear ends and decide to help this country get off its feet. Why it took electing a new president to do this is beyond me! Why everyone lays all their hopes and aspirations on one man is baffling. I didn’t lie around like a wounded deer on the road blaming the car that hit me and waited for someone to help me. I got off on my own accord! You’re all still expected to pull your own weight regardless of who’s in office! Congrats to the newly elected president and I hope this country remains the greatest in the world but c’mon folks! Ask not what your country can do for you…
