DANGER…NEW SUPER COMPUTER VIRUS!

 

Last week as I was going through my gmails, my computer suddenly stopped and a giant message filled my monitor screen…

FROM THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

ATTENTION…YOUR PC IS BLOCKED DUE TO AT LEAST ONE OF THE REASONS SPECIFIED BELOW…

then they go through a list of criminal acts my computer is suspected of and the fines and lengths of time that must be served for each offense. HOWEVER, IF I PAY A FINE OF $200 IN THE NEXT 72 HOURS, IT WON’T SHOW UP ON MY PERMANENT RECORD!

DAMN…WHAT A SCAM

Then they go on to say I can pay the $200 fine with Moneypack at K-MART, Walmart’s, etc. “JUST LOAD UP THE ENVELOPE WITH CASH AND THEY WILL GET IT TO US.”

WHO’S WRITING THEIR COPY, AL CAPONE?

In the ten years that I’ve been on the Internet I’ve never had a computer virus, so I called my friend music publisher/computer wiz, Don Williams and asked him what should I do? He said,” don’t do anything…the viruses going around today are far more sophisticated and dangerous than they’ve ever been and could easily infect and destroy everything on your hard drive!”

Don doesn’t live here in the desert so he couldn’t give me the name of somebody who could help me save my computer, but fortunately I did! I got on the phone with the woman who rents me my studio apartment whom I called Karen Kady “The Go-To Lady”,  and she recommended RENSIM, computer sales and repairs in Desert Hot Springs, California.

Robert Misner, the owner of RENSIM, looked at my computer and told me he could take the virus off for $60, called his assistant David Kratky over, who photographed the phony FBI screen. Two days later my computer was as good as new. We’ve since discovered the new super computer virus is called REVITON.DLL
